Break Deportation!

At 21.07.2017 a group of 20 people made their criticism against deportation public with handouts and megaphone. The concret reason for this action was that at thursday, the 13.07.2017, and at thursday, the 20.07.2017, deportations took place from different camps in Erfurt. At the 13.07. at least one family was affected, at the 20.07. at least two young people. And these are only the deportations we got to know about. As it happened already a lot of times the police appeared in the camps in the middle of the night. Between 4 and 5 o clock the police awoke
people and deported them against their will.
Also from Apolda we know about a deportation of at least one person at the 20.07.. This person was even put to deporation prison one day before the deportation. Probably there was a charterflight than from Munich to Serbia and to Kosovo.
On the manifestations there was also information about who is responsible for organising and making the deportations happen, which is the Ausländerbehörde, the Ministry for Migration, the BAMF and the police working together.
In the inner city of Erfurt some people were interested to read the handouts and to know more about the issue to strengthen the criticism against deportations. But there were also people making racist comments or shaking heads while passing us. Because we went to several public places in Erfurt with a lot of
tourists around we could make public at least for a short time what is dayly life for people affected by deportation.

4.3. 2017: Around 35 fighters from all over the world came together in Jena to forces to fight here deportation – the deportation System in Thuringia and Germany. There are many women who fight for their families. There is just a lot of pressure on people from Afganistan and Somalia.
Stop all deportations. Stop the war against people with the status refugee.
Afganistan is not safe!

What is it?
– open meetings once a month in different cities in thuringia
– especially for refugees to come together and talk about theirproblems internally and also to – – publish them (for example in a campaign)
Topics:
– situation of refugees in different cities and camps (Lager);
– general political situation
– self organisation of refugee communities
-concrete solidary campaigns against the whole deportation system like the presentation of Balkan refugees fighting against deportation in Jena
Self conception:
In the rich countries of the world there is a culture of deportation and this racist structure destroys people psychological and physiological. Thats why it is important not only to help in single cases but to destroy this wohle structure.
Therefore we try to find options for acting and mobilising others to join the self organised struggle. The bigger / stronger the self organisation is the stronger is the solidarity against isolation and deportation.
There are already strong networks of selforganisation which can be used for that like The Voice Refugee Forum in Jena or Roma Thüringen in Erfurt. But all affected people need to organise to empower themselves and fight for their rights together.
Although it is a long fight and in the moment we reach only small steps of improvement, there is more to win then to loose. Deportation is part of the political system and thats why there has to be a political resistance against it.

Einladung zum Break Deportation Netzwerk Treffen am 4.3.2017 um 14.30 Uhr, Haus auf der Mauer – Keller Beteilige dich an der Kampagne für die Selbstorganisation Geflüchteter in Thüringen
Was ist das?:
– ein offenes Treffen, welches ein Mal im Monat in verschiedenen Thüringer Städten stattfindet
– insbesondere sollen Geflüchtete zusammen kommen, um über ihre Probleme zu sprechen und diese auch zu veröffentlichen (z.B. in einer Kampagne)
Themen:
– Situation geflüchteter Menschen in verschiedenen Städten und Lagern
– die generelle politische Situation
– Selbstorganisation von Geflüchteten
– konkrete solidarische Kampagnen gegen das gesamte System der Abschiebungen, wie z.B. die Vorstellung der Kampagne balkanischer Geflüchteter aus Jena, die gegen ihre Abschiebung kämpfen
Selbstverständnis:
In den reichen Ländern der Erde gibt es eine Kultur der Abschiebung und diese rassistische Struktur zerstört Menschen seelisch und körperlich. Deshalb ist es notwendig nicht nur in einzelnen Fällen von Abschiebung zu helfen, sondern diese gesamte Struktur zu zerstören.
Um das zu erreichen suchen wir nach Handlungsmöglichkeiten und mobilisieren Andere, sich dem selbstorganisierten Kampf anzuschließen. Denn je größer / stärker die Selbstorganisation ist, desto stärker ist die Solidarität gegen Isolation und Abschiebungen.
Es gibt in Thüringen schon starke selbstorganisierte Netzwerke Geflüchteter, wie The Voice Refugee Forum in Jena und Roma Thüringen in Erfurt. Diese Netzwerke können genutzt werden. Doch alle Betroffenen müssen sich selbst organisieren um sich selbst zu ermächtigen zusammen für ihre Rechte zu kämpfen.
Obwohl das ein langer Kampf ist und wir im Moment nur kleine Verbesserungen erreichen, gibt es in diesem Kampf mehr zu gewinnen als zu verlieren. Abschiebung ist Teil des politischen Systems und muss daher mit politischen Widerstand beantwortet werden.
